Contact and Appointment
To make an appointment, you can reach us by phone during the office hours listed below or by email. We will take care of your request as soon as possible.
In emergencies, please present yourself directly at the central emergency room (ZENA) of the Helios Klinikum München West (Steinerweg 5) without prior appointment.
If you urgently need a consultation appointment or if the waiting time for an appointment in the practice is too long for you, you can always make an appointment at short notice in the hand consultation of Dr. Volkmer in the Helios Klinikum München West (Tel.: +49 (0)89 8892 2227). It is usually easier to get an appointment here.

Video consultation
Our video consultation hours allow you to contact us online – conveniently and securely from home. During virtual office hours, you can receive a consultation or initial assessment on almost any issue related to our MHAND hand surgery specialty. We would also like to make follow-up care possible for patients living further away.
How it works
We conduct the video consultation in cooperation with Patientus, the leading certified German service provider of medical video telephony. Patientus complies with all legal requirements, which means: your data is of course secure. The doctor’s consultation is just as confidential as it would be during a visit to the doctor’s office.
All you need is a smartphone or laptop/PC, webcam & internet. You don’t need to install anything for the video consultation, because it runs directly in your browser (Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari or Opera). When you log in to your video consultation appointment, the software helps you set up the camera and microphone.
The process is simple: you can book an appointment here or directly via Jameda. You then receive a login code, sit down in the digital waiting room 5 minutes before the appointment starts and have your insurance card ready. Then the doctor starts the conversation with you.
Billing for patients with statutory insurance is regulated uniformly throughout Germany. Privately insured patients receive a private invoice from us according to GOÄ, which can be submitted to the private health insurance.
Please note that it is prohibited by law to make a diagnosis without prior direct contact with the patient during the video consultation. In any case, the presentation in a doctor’s office is mandatory.

Our practice is located in the west of Munich in the center of the green district of Pasing. The practice can be quickly reached by car from the entire city area via the middle ring road or the freeways.
We have a limited number of parking spaces for our patients in the underground garage of our building Am Schützeneck 8. To use these, please drive into the garage entrance to the left of the entrance to the practice and ring the bell directly at the pillar. You will then be admitted. If all the parking spaces here are occupied, there are also two larger parking garages in the immediate vicinity. The underground parking garage of the neighboring Pasing Arcaden offers sufficient parking space.

From there it is about a 3-minute walk to the practice.
For people with walking disabilities, a disabled parking space is available directly in front of the front door. Otherwise, the number of available parking spaces in the city center of Pasing is manageable; public transportation is recommended.
Thanks to our central location near the Pasing train station and good public transport connections, you can still reach us quickly and in an environmentally friendly manner by public transport such as S-Bahn (S3, S4, S6, S8, S20), streetcar (line 19) and bus. The stops are Pasing Marienplatz and Pasing Bahnhof.

Our opening hours are Monday to Thursday from 08:00 - 12:00 or 14:00 - 18:00, and Fridays from 08:00 to 13:00. Appointments by reservation.
