Video consultation
Our video consultation allows you to get in touch with us online, conveniently and securely from your home. During the virtual office hours, you can receive advice or an initial assessment for almost any question related to our MFORM specialty. We also aim to provide post-treatment care for patients living further away.
Here's how it works
We conduct our video consultations in collaboration with Patientus, the leading certified German provider of medical video telephony. Patientus complies with all legal regulations, ensuring the security of your data. The doctor-patient conversation is just as confidential as an in-person visit to the practice.
All you need is a smartphone or a laptop/PC, a webcam, and an internet connection. You don’t need to install anything for the video consultation because it runs directly in your web browser (Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, or Opera). The software will assist you in adjusting your camera and microphone settings when you log in for your appointment.
The process is simple: You can book an appointment here or directly through Jameda. You will then receive a login code. Please be in the virtual waiting room 5 minutes before the appointment and have your insurance card with you. The doctor will then initiate the conversation with you.
Billing for individuals with statutory health insurance is regulated uniformly nationwide. Privately insured patients will receive a private invoice based on the GOÄ, which can be submitted to their private health insurance.
Please note that it is legally prohibited to make a diagnosis during a video consultation without a prior direct doctor-patient contact. In all cases, it is mandatory to visit a doctor’s practice for a diagnosis.
